for me, it's the no seatbelt song
for me its the song that actually talks about no seatbelts: Seventy Times Seven
the whole thing reeks of "2000's angsty college student"
i adore it
This album gave no hints that this band would produce one of the greatest albums of all time later. I mean it’s good don’t get me wrong but the transformation in two albums time is astounding
i've only ever heard 'Okay I Believe You, But My Tommy Gun Don't' which i love. is their other output (this album included) worth a listen?
Start by listening to deja entendu because that’s where that songs from and has the most songs that sound like that. If you love it then start at the beginning if you kinda like it then listen to the devil and god to see what they’re really about cause it’s their best record.
Yfw:7.5/10
De:8.5/10
Tdag:10/10
Daisy:10/10 (for me, a lot of people aren’t fond of it like tdag)
Sf:9/10 (some of their best songs but not as cohesive as tdag)
honestly thanks for the recs brother i'll follow through
deja entendu
then yfw if you want more pop or tdag for emo
then daisy and sf
pop punk thread? youtube.com
fuck pitchfork and every fucking faggot working there
TBS was better.
if you're a 13 yr old girl maybe
Listening to either one of these bands as an adult is ridiculous. But at the time TBS made more interesting, original music than Brand New.
The latter half of Brand New's discography is god tier
I liked listening to it when I was sad in high school yeah.
But did you like being a fat cunt right now?
Did I like what?
>implying science fiction, tdag and daisy are juvenile
shiggy
Just a little.
