I MISS HIM SO MUCH

His lyrics made very little sense sometimes but he had the balls to stand up there and say shit that most of us would find 'cringe' so I gotta respect him for that. Also had an insta-recognizable good voice for singing

His singing voice was awful but his use of vocal layering was genius
He was good at making up harmonies on the fly though

>His singing voice was awful
the fuck are you talking about? his voice was like half the reason he got famous. im talking about early Lil Peep, COWYS Peep is all barred out, slurring, and even goes off key a couple of times. listen to Worlds Away and tell me that dude doesnt have a powerful voice

>his use of vocal layering was genius
thats a bit of an exaggeration, but he was good at multitracking/layering, yes

.

*CRACK* *fshhh*
*SLUUUUURRRP* ahhh
I sure am glad that I am not dead from a fentanyl overdose.

>Enter Lil Peep's funeral
>slowly and dramatically walk to the casket, nobody knows who i am
>'um sir this is for friends and family only'
>i dont care, just keep walking forward
>kneel down so my face is inches away from Peep's, as if I want to tell him something
>slowly and steadily pull out a can of Mr. Pibb Xtra® from my back pocket
>lift it over my head and around so that it's directly between mine and Peep's lifeless face
>*TSST!*
>"not this time" i whisper as i take a slow, satisfying sip
>*SLUUUURRRRRP* ahh
>i leave the soda in the casket, stand up and walk away, not making eye contact or acknowledging with anybody

Ur a nobody

And yet I’m still legally a person, unlike diet peepsi

He's a legend now

>He's a legend
To the FTM troons who comprise his fanbase, no doubt

more like lil BREEP amirite?

That user is still more noteworthy than lil sheet. Hell I'd argue his post will age like wine for generations while everyone forgets this has-been soundcloud rapper

You're delusional

His producers were great at mixing his vocals, I doubt he did shit but offer his voice on most of his songs. When you have two Harvard graduate parents you get access to the top tier shit to make great music.

i miss this lil nigga like you WOULD NOT BELIEVE
barred out slurring peep was one of his best phases; moving on and pictures 2 are my favorites from that time

he mixed his own vocals for everything except cowys 1 & 2 pretty sure

I’m sure he moved the EQ a little more to the high end and then handed it off to the guy who actually made the music part of the music so it wouldn’t sound like shit.

Sounds based to me

nah according to his producers he had his settings and layering that he did to have the same effect on every song

if you believe the articles apparently he was tracking them himself, at least in the early days. somehow he met amateur producers online and theyd email him beats to open in garageband and add his vocals. i dont know all the exact details i havent really cared enough to dive deep into Lil Peep lore. producer guys probably mastered everything

also youre retarded to think his Harvard parents somehow hooked him up with guys like Nedarb Nagrom. its too dirty to be legit, that stuff was truly grassroots

Yeah the guy who was wearing designer clothes and shit was really grassroots. My ass. lil peep was a trust fund baby with access to producers that actually knew what the fuck they were doing. With enough money to purchase probably a great mic and interface and the best plug-ins. I don’t believe any thing is grassroots anymore, it’s just rich parents.

you dont have 2k to spend on music equipment? thats about the cost of everything you just listed

i dont know how much you think teachers make but if there were no industry connections then that is by definition grass roots.

>producers that actually knew what the fuck they were doing
LMAO have you even listened to his stuff? most of it sounds amateurish, with Nedarb being the most talented producer by far. You know he stole beats by the Bones crew in the very beginning, right? thats how you get on someones radar. rap to youtube free beats till people wanna fuck with you. thats the alpha way, fuck spending years learning to program DAWs when you just wanna perform

i hate priveleged kids with parents that buy them thousands of dollars worth of equipment too, i never had that. but at a point it just becomes splitting hairs. at what yearly household income does a kid become a poser? $100k? $150k? its really not his fault for having supportive parents. its industry plants that are cancer

my parents never spent more than a couple hundred bucks on music stuff for me growing up even though i ate lived and breathed music and they knew it
