recs:
how do you put your music out there (outside of these threads) and what is the result? are you disappointed that no one will give you the time of day or have you given up on trying and decided to make music for yourself and only yourself? have you gotten good results? if so, how?
genuine questions here. please answer.

I've never posted in these threads but I think if your taste and self-assessment ability are sufficiently good, you should just only release things you think are worth releasing. the main problem with music is people are often terrible at determining the quality of their work. sometimes this works in the opposite direction and good musicians wrongly think something they've made is bad when it's actually good, but it's usually the opposite
well are you looking for a industry standard type answer or a fuck you user ur gay type answer or a realistic personal answer so that you can steal our tactics...?
any one works but I prefer personal answers. also no, I won't steal anyone's ideas of promo since I'm going for my own way of exposure but I'm thinking of going all out guerilla style and putting shit out there in a subtle viral marketing fashion instead of lazily putting ads up. I'm testing the waters first before I go all in.
great point user in finding taste in one's own work but I'm in the camp that there's literally anything for literally anyone out there, no matter how niche and obscure it can be, even no matter how "bad". You just need to find a way for them to find you. That's what I'm trying to do.
okay if ur not going to use any ideas then fuck you user... the hell im i going to share my million dollar promo plans with you for when u ask then u say u dont even care...
if that's the case then what are you doing here rather than doing those "million dollar promo plans?" I'm more curious about how your promo game outside of here is going and how you're feeling about the result.
its a million dollar plan but it is made up of smaller plans that add up to a million... and yes this is apart of the plan...
leave a comment on mine ill leave a comment back....
good plan
repeat times 1000
incorporate ads and spamming and workers and thots and bots and fans and family and you should be fine
then add radio and a music video and wallah
you have recipe for success until you sign to illjewminati
