I genuinely don't understand why people go to concerts

Tickets at the world famous ballet theater Bolshoi Theatre are about 25 dollars.

You can make frens at the concert though. It's where I met my gf

I enjoy it, not worth traveling a long distance for it though unless it's a band you really fucking love
I wouldn't pay a lot of money for it either but it can be fun

Going to most concerts is boring, especially something like a Beach House or Slowdive concert.
I saw Slowdive and was bored out of my mind. I like Slowdive, but standing in a crowd of people for 2 hours listening to somebody strumming a guitar into three different reverb pedals gets boring fast.
The only concerts I enjoy are heavy/aggressive music where the whole audience turns into a giant mosh pit and you're slamming into people over and over for the whole show. It's like a workout, by the end you're soaked in sweat and beer. It's fun.

I liked the concerts in the old days where bands were ridiculed if they sounded like the album.
People wanted a different spin.
