I am tired of pretending its not. I respect and love all the Experimental, Psychedelic, Progressive and so on bands but I'll be a liar if I'll tell you that I would rather play Caravan in the car instead of Van Halen's debut or that Blue Oyster Cult isn't more memorable than TVU. The original Hard Rock sound is just so primal and in-your face, I think it was the most honest Rock genre for sure (and thats why plebs can also enjoy it, so its hard to gatekeep).
I'm not autistic, so I can enjoy multiple genres of music and not develop such intense anxiety over it I need to declare my manifesto on a Gurkistanian mountain goat weaving picture forum.

The Beatles? They are alright, Rubber Soul is a nice little album but personally I prefer Vanilla Fudge's rendition of Ticket To Ride.
