Can I get some opinion on a first pedal to just have fun with an explore my guitar. Picrel is recommended typically but maybe someone has another suggestion. I don't like buying things twice but would like it to be max ~$250

find a cheap used boss ME-50, those zoom shits sound okay but the layout sucks for editing patche

If you're not pressed for space there's no reason to get a compact multifx look for something like a Boss GT-1 or something used that happens to fit your price range

a 63 style melody maker double cut with a proper les paul headstock, in walnut finish with cream super distortions
pink or white charvel dinky with SSH layout, ebony fretboard, black floyd, model 1 neck shape and toothpaste logo on the strat style headstock.
thinking of picking up an unwanted first act, crescent, or something of that level from craigslist to mod with a buzz bridge so i can have a cheap 'sitar' while leaving my main guitar intact good idea, or bad idea?
