Zoomer bros, what have you been listening to lately?
/zoomer/
Lately I been hella bumpin Shostakovich. Nigga was on another level, fr.
I recently got into the Berlin trilogy of Bowie, I think I like Low more than Heroes
I used to not like Igor but the more I listen to it the more I'm liking the whole album instead of just tracks like Earfquake or New Magic Wand
Listened to the new black midi, I only really like the first half. I will need to listen to it more.
In any case, Ants is AOTY for me right now. But I think BCNR's first album is better
I love shoegaze and dream pop but I'm still shackled to Loveless. Kinda wish I hadn't listented to it when I was first discovering the genre
In Rainbows > Kid A > OK Computer
But The Bends has been growing on me lately

biggest radiohead fan ever here, im the one who posted their topster and is listen to too much dg, The King Of Limbs is good but nowhere near radioheads best. its an alright listen. maybe dont even bother with it.
Damn we have a lot of albums in common
hell yeah man. i noticed. cool.
>take a knife and drain your life
FUCK YEAH BLADEE I KNEW WE COULD RELATE lets drain each other.
Separator is my favorite track on the album, and the run from Codex, Give Up the Ghost, and Separator is great
It's a personal favorite even if it isn't them at their very best. The album isn't about the sound you're hearing per se, it's about all the empty spaces between. Lots of repetition, artificial music, electronic drums, synths, a simple Bb repeated in perfect cue with some computer drums. But it sets the environment so well, it's not about the Bb being repeated, it's about the spaces between the notes, and how vital and life-affirming those little cracks between are. The album sounds like the beating heart of some ancient enchanted forest, with fairies and forest sprites watching your every move, it sounds like a druid's fever dream. It's absolutely worth a listen. live from the basement for TKOL also really shows off just how good the actual music in it is, let alone the ideas that went into it.
for me, it's Cosmic Dancer, Sloop John B, and Selfless
and also Separator
im not readin all that
Ken Carson...
