actually I listened to it again and can't bear the cornball lyrics, the best tracks are the ones with the least hamfisted political commentary like punk rock loser and the cognitive tradeoff hypothesis. don't know why it's so hard for lefty bands to not be painfully cringy, do they just rely on the hope that the fans will tolerate the shitty lyrics just because they agree with them?
