reposting this because i'm a brainlet that wants answers
im playing some dumb thing with the chords B, D#m, C# can someone explain to me what the key is and why (in relation to chord functions?)
it ends with D#m so i would assume it's in D#m but why would it not be Ebm or F# or Gb or whatever the fuck
if its D#m i'm playing VI - i (except it goes up instead of down?) - III - i - VI - i - III
sorry if i'm making no sense but i'm also trying to make sense of this

>grabs $6000 camera, cut to next shot >$30000 in amps and guitars behind him that his rich parents bought him >"Did you know that Marshalls and Vox are all over British music?" >grabs a giant "reliced" baby vomit custom guitar that cost $4000 that looks like it came from a sweatshop >despite having a tesla worth of gear always plays some old boomer licks through a vox ac30 with strymon pedals if he wants a clean sound or fuzz for a gainy sound
Unironically JHS, which then gets him accusations that he’s trying to game the Reverb market because why else would anyone play a shitty pedal I don’t care if he’s a cult leader that engages in African slave labor, the Morning Glory is the perfect dad rock pedal
