She literally never said they did that idk why people are so dumb. Producers were SHOCKED when that video came out and she was visibly using serum like wtf lmao
I guess what I meant is that it's cool. I like it. 0:32 gets a bit messy. Maybe try different chords with the lower synth or switch it out for a less prominent sound there.
>a whole shitload of digital synths are at least 8-part multi-timbral
Just expanding on this with a question. So yeah all of my 80s/90s synths are at least partly multi-timbral and only my newer kit isn't, what do we think about that, is it just because 80s and 90s musicians needed whole backing sections in a single box at a relatively lower price, or have manufacturers decided that single-part synths generate more profit from people who would now have to buy multiple newer units to get the same result?
Or do we still get the same value for money, ie: newer stuff has more features rather than more voices

But now it sounds muddy, right?

like... just producers? M.I.A and Bjork back in the day Arca (not bait but I expect to be lambasted) Laurel Halo
All great musicians but i'd only take advice from half of them honestly lol
No fr though, the overlap between good musician, good teacher, and people with anything interesting to share is very small- following musicians in hopes of catching some knowledge is a colossal waste of time imo. At best you're just going to catch a peak at their gear or session

> ie: newer stuff has more features rather than more voices the people buying hardware are generally not doing it for "features" or to be cutting edge in any way. Newer hardware is about catering to what gearfags (no offense intended) say they want, not providing "value" over what has been previously released
plenty of newer gear is multitimbral, but it's mostly relegated to digital instruments, which are out of fashion. Stuff like the Blofeld has 16 voices.

it's not bad but it reminds me of 100 gecs how's mine? this is a song off a noise album I just finished youtube.com/watch?v=syuJS1KElVw

vocaroo.com/1bwDYk5wkRx0 So I took some parts from a song I'm already working on to see if I could maybe get a loop out of it, how is it?
thanks, guess it's the chipmunked vocals I usually don't care much for noise but that was enjoyable, especially the voice stuff. maybe some more timbral variation there would be nice I've posted an earlier version once before, yeah

It's a cool loop, but >bass panned Sounds like I'm tipping over.
