Who was in the wrong here?

A HELI! A HELI!

Todd. His production is not even as amazing as some might say. Andy wrote most of the songs, he should have produced Skylarking by himself.

was nigel better off in care?

No. He should have gone to university instead.

was he fit to do it?

He should have stepped just a tad outside of his happy world. He was a good lad, poor Nigel.

but thats what they said about tommy. that he should just snap out of it

The deaf dumb and blind kid?

1. Play making plans for nigel on repeat
2. By hour five, you will likely be based

Also drink in meantime. Drums and Wires was my go to album when I wanted to get shitfaced

ye but he could play pinball

ROADS GIRDLE THE GLOOOOOOOOOOOOOBE

Every song from Drums and Wires
Every song from Black Sea
Every song from English Settlement
Every song from The Big Express
Every song from Skylarking except Another Satellite and Dear God

>except Another Satellite
Kill yourself

Come on, that song is blatantly weaker than all the others and sounds totally out of place stylistically.

I'm not liking the way Mummer is getting edited out here lads.

Another Satellite is one of the better tracks on the album, and Dear God is not even on the album at all. It just got tacked on in subsequent rereleases because it was popular with edgy kids in the USA.
