"Impressionistic" guitar music

Classical guitar often have straight melodies with changing chords
But theres also more "atmospheric" or "impressionistic" compositions, that are slower, that stay in a single chord for longer or are almost modal in some parts, more into creating an ambiance and effects on the listener than following a melody where it leads
Do you know any examples of this later kind?

I was looking for examples from a classical guitar context
But that was cool I guess, not impressionistic either, your just shilling your song right lol
Is that you? Are you BR?

tl;dr
>there's a BR guy named Sam who posts on the guitar general, he is the one playing bass on the video
>some other schizo from the guitar general absolutely hates Sam
>this second schizo finds his way into every thread that his remotely related to guitar and shitposts his schizo ramblings about Sam

>that is*
fix'd

>it’s always been one guy
>there is no Sam

I actually had the same thought after listening to piano compositions by Debussy and Ravel for a while. There really isn’t much from that era and style when it comes to guitar. The closest thing I’ve found is lute music like John Dowland, which is still phenomenal stuff.

Not classical at all and basic Any Forumscore shit, but honestly impressionistic/ambiant acoustic guitar stuff is really one of the elements that make Animal Collective stand out the most as a "pop" (using that extremely loosly) band, to me
