Where am I on the list?

1) Post your Les Paul
2) Post playing and I'll decide

>>Paul Kossoff
If he hadn't fallen for the drug meme he'd have been one of the most famous guitarists of all time on every "best ever" list out there. His playing was special in ways few other's was

Gordie from Big Sugar isn't as well known but he should be in the conversation
Do yourself a favor and listen to picrel, based on your list you would love it if you haven't heard it
There's even a cover of Let It Ride where he trades licks with Warren Haynes for an extended solo session, just a gem of an album

>reggae rock
No, I'm not a faggot so I think I'll pass

Better Les Paul related question:. Pickguard on or off?

Off

1) Gary Moore

Thanks.

How do you cope with the screw holes in the top?

Zakk Wylde
Jerry Cantrell
Slash

Too bad Zakk stopped playing his LP and now plays his pointy meme guitars

That’s cause they look and play better pleb

Cantrell plays a lot of Gibson's but most of his AiC recordings were on a G&L

Good one
LPs play fine. People that complain about the heel joint are faggots

Right….

Worked for Rhoads and Wylde and they could play an LP as fast as anyone
Zakk left Gibson to make money buy having a company with his name, that's it. He played Gibson for nearly 40 years before that

Nothing wrong with a reggae beat under a rock song
Your self perceived lack of masculinity on the other hand I find highly questionable

You mean the sovl holes?

>Duane Allman
>Dickie Betts
>Paul Kossoff
>Gary Moore
>Mick Ronson
>Slash (on his original guitars)
>Zakk Wylde (almost positive on his original bull's-eye)
All played an LP with the pickguard removed and visible screw holes on the top. There are more I can't think of off the top of my head
If anything there's a certain cool factor associated with not giving a shit that there's big holes in the top and just playing

My ears are still ringing from the Big Sugar shows I went to in the 90s. They were absolute beasts to see live. During the lockdown bullshit I got on to watching comfy vids of Gordie doing Sugar covers from his ranch.

You put the screws back in them so they don't get lost.

I honestly think having the screws looks like dogshit. I'd rather just have the empty holes
