This is kind of an interesting mashup. The screamo-style lyrics are a little too distorted and static-y, and they drown out the beat too much. I like the beat though.

The Last Summer Night is very surfy and very Beach Boys sounding, which I like alot. It’s a good sounding song.

i couldnt find a way to mix them well without losing some of the sonic weirdness of the beat. it probably a limitation of ableton, or my own gay abilities.

Yeah that beat’s pretty cool, feel like an actual kick drum would add some weight to the beat to have more substantial rhythm overall, but it’s vibey otherwise

Maybe a tiny bit more low end and less 2.5-4khz in the vocals could help with what the other user was saying, so maybe try playing around with that? Some sort of band specific compression only on higher frequencies er sumn
