Daddy eppy definitely helped them marketing wise and Martin was key to their recorded sound but the reality is they were a rock and roll band that did the grind in the German and UK club scene and that's where they perfected their version of rock n roll. They understood how an audience reacted to music and focused on what was fun, sounded good, and sang well
