>I listen to Mylo Xyloto
>Hear a pop masterpiece, brimming with color and eternal optimism for life

>Hears derivative and boring pop
What am I missing? Why the huge difference in perception?
I listen to Mylo Xyloto
t. Patrick Bateman
It'd help if you didn't try to force it by spamming it a bunch of times
it's got some great tracks but a fair bit of filler like paradise
that album is so fucking bad lmfao
coldplay have always been a shitty band and mylo xyloto is the nadir
i think they really started going downhill after viva la vida. Their newer albums just feels like shitty pop jingles with a few good tracks where the producers fucked off
Princess of China bombed ass and it still puzzles me to this day how a mainstream track featuring two extremely popular artists in the peak of their careers allow for a song to bomb that hard
Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall is a literal masterpiece, even if stolen
wheres it stolen from?
they were working on a fully acoustic album recorded in a cathedral after Prospekt's March but scrapped it halfway through. Charlie Brown and UFO were both reworked from those sessions. what could have been...
loved some tracks off this album. are there any bands that do that kind of massive-sounding, anthemic, major-key pop rock stuff?
tracks like
>hurts like heaven
>charlie brown
>every teardrop is a waterfall
>don't let it break your heart
i really like that sound
It's fine. I normally can't stand Coldplay, but they usually shit some decent tunes. You know,at least they're not Imagine Dragons after all
big music
lel i was memeing but it actually is big music according to rym
Ah yeah Parachutes never happened man terrible band
are they just putting that fucking tag everywhere
didn't know Coldplay was post-punk
I agree. Some of the most beautiful pop music to come from the 2010s. Every Tear Drop Is A Waterfall was one of my favorites as a kid.
Parachutes is the best thing coldgay has ever done. Too bad it’s lower-mid.
Some less famous pop song which was actually stolen from another artist. Wikipedia has the details
Friendly reminder that Radiohead>>>>Cuckplay
Coldplay's last good album was X&Y, almost 17 years ago
Apples and oranges
Okay, and Radiohead's last good album, Hail to the Thief, was released 19 years ago. What's your point, British rock bands from the 90s are getting old?
