I recently started a compact disc music collection, can anyone suggest a solution to the 'rolling away' problem? it's not an issue if i put them back in their cases immediately after playing, due to the square shape of the box obviously, but, if i want to place them on a surface at some point in between playing them and returning them to their cases, that's when the trouble begins, because, being circular they WILL roll away! any advice on how to prevent this? how did people handle this problem back in the day?

new:

Mogwai - Rock Action (2001)
Grandaddy - The Sophtware Slump (2000)
Nino Rota - The Godfather (1972)
Tanghetto - Más allá del sur (2009)
Otto - Sem gravidade (2003)
Otto - Condom Black (2001)
Otto - Samba pra burro (1998)
Klaus Doldinger and Giorgio Moroder - The NeverEnding Story (1984)
Various Artists - Last Action Hero (1993)

Laurel MacDonald - Chroma (1999)

Stop trying to force this as a meme

Found Jamie xx's In Colour earlier today. £1 still sealed. Amazed it was dumped in a charity shop and had sat there for over a month with no takers.

very nice

i picked up bic runga, elevator music (recommended), acid dubs, tchaikovsky (one CD was missing!) and a few others

my friend always seems to get way better CDs, I have like 20 MoS CDs, the 2002 one kicks ass

Thanks. The best part about charity shops is that they're usually staffed by middle-aged/elderly ladies who have absolutely zero clue about the value of anything.

no u

You're boring.

Why the fuck is it so hard to get a CD player that lasts longer than 3 years?
Post your CD players.

Shitty pasta. No flavor. Boring. Will be forgotten soon

brought some cds on my family car ride, tried to bring stuff my gen x parents wouldn’t hate. i picked:
elliott smith - figure 8
no knife - fire in the city of automatons
new pornos - electric version
replacements - hootenanny
jimmy eat world - clarity
they ended up liking no knife the most

The first time I saw it I thought it was mental illness, but at this point it's pathetic.

found music has the right to children, tortoise's TNT, and what burns never returns at my local flyover vintage stock which I was kinda shocked by, they never have anything good

dont listen to the other anons, your pasta is funny.

It's shit. The reply in that thread is actually funnier, even if it's just as bad.

Just use a DVD player. CD players are generally shitty unless you spend $500, but you might as well just buy a $100 DVD player.
