MTV

how would you save it?
is it even saveable?
it's basically the Ridiculousness network now
If they were to rebrand to play music videos 24/7 again I think it would get a lot of attention, definitely would be a welcome change
who the fuck even watches it now?
I remember when MTV started to favor reality shows and other bullshit but they also had MTV 2 which played music videos all day, before that became the bam margera network
MTV classic is neat but it only plays old videos
I know nobody watches broadcast TV these days, I think MTV could work best as a live streaming channel on twitch or wherever that you could put on as background noise but it'd be cool to have that music discovery again

no chance with the existence of youtube

when people had to download videos slowly through kazaa they still had a chance

Its too late, youtube and tik tok already replaced it. and even before that it became the reality tv channel. now it doesnt even have good reality tv it has a 40 hour marathon of ridiculesness
im 30 years old and i remember watching mtv 2 to have to watch music videos also remeber when the award shows were super hyped, mtv means nothing to zoomers it has no influence at all, not even as a relic

ps. bring back headbangers ball

1. i would target the gamer market, i would air old reruns of game center cx, and also i would make speed runners and twitch streamers into tv stars

2. live action movies of your favorite bands, why does netflix get the motley crue story?

3. rebrand mtv news into a subversive diet vice meets p4k news, have them do mini documentaries meant to go viral where musicians act weird or stupid or autistic

4. late night animation block that rivals adult swim, have anime and new up and coming animators, let them go wild and be the cutting edge

cant think of anything else

For me it was limeware.

>gamer
Cringe

its what the kids are into man.
kids just sit all day playing games online to an audience.

network tv is finished
MTV serves no purpose anymore
local networks are held up purely by the election advertisement revenue cycle

Cringe retard also you sound like a weirdo old man

only dpop (deutsch pop) can save the west from kpop

there's already a spiritual successor for music videos. For comfy cartoons the closest is I guess Adult Swim/HBO Max. And of course youtube exists.

This. Youtube destroyed that market.
When everyone can watch w/e they want when they want, a talmudvision with the same focus would only be the video equivalent of a radio station.

Maybe it'd appeal to those who want to see "curated" playlists or smth. Very niche. Or those who only want to see what the music industry rams down their throats.

24/7 gay and tranny porn because that's what this faggot generation seems to crave

rent free

I would watch this

set to music?

There's no need for it to exist anymore. Just use youtube you boomer

This would make sense desu if your goal is to keep MTV oriented towards the young adult/college/teen market and rebrand it into something relevant for the times. Could maybe survive still as an Adult Swim like network with this type of programming. Gaming, anime, movies, weird documentaries, surreal shit

This is me from 15 years ago

Why are you watching tv at all? Are you retarded?

>is it even saveable?
it could be semi-savable if they do exclusive interviews, mini-documentaries, artists making playlists+commentary and a bunch of adult swim type stuff
I already typed this and now I'm seeing
