case in point in my opinion is bubu by anabelas. there's an opening minute and a half of quintessential 'prog/jaZZ shit' that justifies itself by what it turns into: the most naturally relacsed 15 seconds of bass accompanied by a perfect electric guitar. Its more effective if you listen to it from the beginning, but I'm specifically talking about from 1:30 to 1:44. What they do after is what most prog rock bands fail to do, they completely neglect to develop the thing that made that tiny section of music incredible. Everything after 1:44 was okay, but felt 'intended'.
