And maybe this (sort of obscure) album by French musician "Pyramid". It used to be on Bandcamp, where I first listened to it. Then, he had it on his website, for free, as a download. I am not sure if that meant that it didn't sell well. But I've always like it and now I can't find all of the soundtracks on that album anymore. I used to have it on my MP3 player before it died.

I'm not even sure if it accompanied a game, was meant to accompany one, or whatever. Don't remember.
There are a couple hair raising moments on this album that always make me return to it. Particularly on ‘Citizens of the City’ and ‘Black Scythe Affair’ if you’re into this.

Always loved this song. The busy percussion and the strings go together perfectly.
