>anyone ever buy some shit like this and just spray paint it? i know your supposed to stain the wood or use actual guitar paint but im wondering how spray paint would look You can but it will look shitty. If you just want to spray with one product you could do spray clear lacquer (canned). That looks alright and doesn't require sanding between coats.

>be me >get a JCM800 >only use the clean channel It sounds so good, bros.
Where do you guys usually buy strings? The last bunch I ordered was from strings and beyond, import to Canada. After the exchange it was still cheaper than buying local.
Christian Ward
I get mine from Long and McQuade
Blake Nguyen
Amazon UK, usually three packs of D’addario.
Jaxon Bell
What a stupid fucking conversation. Is this kind of banal idiocy normal for these threads?
Lucas Jackson
No, normal we just talk about a Brazilian named Sam. You want to discuss Sam with us, user?
Samuel White
>/gg/ can't even get 10 posts into a new thread without mentioning the favela ape i'm out
Anthony Gutierrez
...favela ape? ...FAVELA APE?!?
...SIR I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW YOU ARE TALKING TO A FAVELA APE!
Today I saw some guy driving a rusty old shitbox with paint peeling off the hood and the trunk and it got me wondering why people don't pay thousands of dollars to make their car look like that like they do with their guitars.
Anyway, guitar is a dead instrument and metal is for children.
Nathan Powell
Just Strings if I want something posh, or Solo for everything else. I usually pick up a pack of strings from physical stores when I go in just for etiquette.
Lincoln Morris
yea that was me you saw. i was literally a crypto multimillionaire a few months ago and now i'm not anymore. this shit sucks
Link some of the bass players may find helpful. This is a list of the winding length of bass strings from all the major manufacturers. Winding length meaning ball end to taper or silk wrapping. The manufacturers have no standard on this and the definition of 'long' scale vs 'extra' or 'super' long differs between all of them. This information is important if you have: a 35" scale bass, a string through bass, or a hollowbody bass with a tailpiece. Depending on design, some manufacturer's extra long scale may be too long or not long enough. Too long is when the full diameter of the strings wraps on to tuner peg, not long enough means taper/silk starts above the fingerboard before the nut. DR long scale is the same length as Ernie Ball super long, for example. fretnation.com/Bass-String-Lengths-by-Manufacturer_ep_47-1.html Thank you, I will now start referring to my beater Corolla as reliced.
