How come this is the only 80s album that aged well?

It's the god tier songwriting and influence of the 80s entirely as pop into perfection.

Dude fuck off Everybody Wants To Rule The World sounds like most cheesiest stereotypical 80s pop song of all time

Shout sounds modern THOUGH

>stereotypical
Say that about the godawful one hit 80s ballads that play in grocery stores 24/7.

They shouldn't have made top 40 pop, they were too sophisticated for that

EWTRTW is so stereotypical they played it in NWA movie during 80's white college kids scene

Is Roland better singer than Curt? As we all know tenors rule pop world, yet he sounds fresh and more appealing
>how did he do it

I agree that is a great album. Most everything else you said is dumb as hell though.

>implying college kids are bad
No surprise here, Tyrone

Bu.p

Tears for Fears are fantastic. If you like them, do yourself a favor and listen to the score Eurythmics did for the 1984 film adaption by Michael Radford. It really sounds like something they could have made.

The Hurting is better

i disagree with everything you've said, but sftbc is as close to a perfect album as there could be

What you think of Rolans singing style? How would you describe it?

Only the Disturbed version of Shout sounds halfway decent. David Draiman takes an overproduced, merely so-so weepie and makes it into a spectacularly performed rallying cry for venting your frustrations with life, the world, your boss, and "the man" through artistic expression.

Why nu metal bands loved to cover 80s hits so much lol

>dated
>aged

what a lame critique

Those are legit descriptors, OP is a faggot for assuming they are inherently negative traits though, the best synthpop is usually dated as shit (this applies to various other genres).

You definitely can say that Shout sounds fresh while Welcome to the jungle sounds old

Big Chair is exceptional but it still has elements of the 80’s cheese. The Hurting is superior and has not aged, if you played it to a zoomer they wouldn’t think it was an 80’s album.

You clearly need to listen to more 80s music. It's obvious from your post you only listen to the most mainstream stuff. And obviously TFF sound better than that, because their origin was in post-punk.

UUHHHHH?

>duran duran sounds dated
everyone still loves Duran Duran, copetard

You need to listen to more music from the 80's, and this album sounds like the time it came from so i don't know why you think this an exception
