>be one of the most talented guitar players of your generation
>make music for soccer moms and blues lawyers
what a waste!

have you actually listented to his stuff?

If you listen to Continuum and Born and Raise (albums) you will realize his music is for everyone and hits at the very essences of what it is to be human.

Soccer moms actually have lots of life experience, it's often why focus groups/search companies seek their insights before launching a product or service.

There is the cliche "Mother knows best..."

not my style.
lately I've been listening to a lot of Current 93, you should listen to them

currently listening (sounds like witcher soundtrack) and will continue to do...BUT do you ever think it's worth listening to talented artists who have acheived widespread success because it helps you understand and connect to other people better?

Do you ever feel that listening to very niche music turns into an isolating act and borders on the line of self absorption? I certainly felt this way when i was younger and obssesed with uncovering "hidden gems".

Listen to stop this train and read the lyrics...i've listened to 5 minutes of your song now

I'm immersing myself in Christian mysticism and we're instructed as disciples to completely reject anything worldly, so in a way yes to what you're saying, and that's a good thing. These days the only music I listen to is music that brings me closer to God and further away from the world. My favorite artists are
Current 93 (1 more song for you)

The Trees Community

and Dave Bixby

when I listened to the John Mayer song you linked it made me feel uncomfortable and sad. It sounds so worldly and benign.
I can understand why people like it, and the picture you posted references it. It's simple and reassuring for a certain lifestyle, but not for me.
I think people need to let go of worldly desires and realize there are much more important things at hand

I’ve never heard JM but why does everyone hate on him?

he's hotter and better guitarist then they'll ever be

>i love you baby
>it's any way you figger
>the only problem is
>i'm just not into

what did he mean by this?

What song is this?

song?

What are youtalking about

FUCKING GROSS
FUCK THE FUCK OFF

I think it's like the old joke:
>Q. How many guitarists does it take to screw in a light bulb?
>A. Five. One to screw in the light bulb, and four to stand around saying,"hell, I could've done that better".

it's mostly taylor swift fans who hate him. pay no attention to them.

Neon is kino and im tired of pretending it isn't
