It's out.
youtube.com
Gorillaz
i'll pass
Pretty good.
whitesisters.... we won
>cracker island
Its pretty good actually
Is the MV out as well? I only see the 15 second clip of 2D in the car.
I like it
Is this from a new album?
Not bad I'm feeling it
Just a single
Yeah I think so. Probably called the last cult.
Also think they gonna do something conceptual like plastic beach, hopefully they’ll be able to finish it now that they live off internet money.
>called cracker island
>all the plebbitnigger tourist like it
Pottery
your pottery sucks
Better than yours
Reminds me of Plastic Beach a bit
Gorrilaz is always hit and miss for me but when it hits, it hits so good.
I quite like this. Need time to see if it grows on me though
>RACE RACE RACE RACE RACE AAAAAAA
Jesus shut the fuck up
lol the track is fine but Cracker Island pretty much sounds like something that could have been of The Now Now.
All the build up they’ve been doing for weeks for just a single and to not also formally announce the album or even drop a music video feels weird
Was it more meant to promote the tour? Are the label hoping for an actual chart/radio hit with this one?
Calm down weirdo also it’s literally the song name
Wait, i heard this like a week ago and thought it was pretty meh.
How was this release 50 minutes ago?
Damon said on a Radio 1 interview today that theres an Album coming eventually.
Is it in your YT history?
You probably listened to the live version or the "studio recreation".
They've been running it live for couple months now.
No, I'm convinced I've listened to this exact version.
I'll check my history.
Compared to what Damon has shit out the past few years. This is a return to the classic Gorillaz sound.
I checked again, yeah it's the "studio recreated version" from about a month ago.
Sounds very similar though.
Pretty good. Wish I could fuck 2D though
Sound Machine S1 was supposed to be Damon fucking around in the studio before settling on what direction to go for the next album. If this, and the other leaked songs, are any indication of what the new album's sound will be like. I feel that this will be more similar to Plastic Beach than Humanz and The Now Now.
