MUSIC in general? Probably this bad ass motherfucker. I started to dig it a year after his death when I was 10. I transferred a few songs from the album to my good ol' slider cellphone for listening while in school. Beat It STILL is on my top 3 songs of all time.

From there I became interested in classic albums, what made them classics, what is the difference between good and bad music, etc. The following year I got my first guitar, so while I can’t narrow down the specific first album I bought I’m sure they all played some role.
