I avoid Soundcloud and I love Bandcamp, but I'm not anti-Soundcloud. More important artists probably got their start on Soundcloud. I just don't have the patience for it - it seems like most artists on Bandcamp are at least somewhat serious, the general quality is infinitely higher, and it's easy to find great new things. The problem with Soundcloud is that probably 90% is people making half assed hip hop or EDM songs that no one would ever take seriously. People shouldn't be ashamed of those experiments, but they also definitely shouldn't try to make a name for themselves off bullshit.

I give feedback and comments on Souncloud.
recs:
It's a nice collection of tracks, the first track borrows a lot from the RnB influenced Garage from the 2000's. It's a nice track, well produced. Acid Jakal has this early Ceephax Acid Crew feel that i like, the playing with the delay, filter and bell like synths keeps the track going until the 303, basic at times but nonetheless entertaining.
I said it in the last thread but I really do like your SoundCloud track album , gives me some aphex vibes

cool stuff
"stardust" is a cool track. The guitar is interesting enough for it to keep the music fresh throughout the whole thing, and the rest of the instruments also do a great job.
really fuck with manic oh man. its a little armature but there's potential

nice, enjoying this. tapes look good too, well done on doing something for charity.
man, a lot of potential here, I listened to Stardust and the recent single release which is absolutely crushing sonically. Probably the only thing that doesn't quite sit with me right away are the vox, but if I give it a couple more listens it might bed in a bit.

I want to put this on multiple cassette tapes to send it out but I currently don't own a cassette player nor do I know how the merch system of BC works since I never tried it yet. It's more the thought of the merch being out internationally and the logistics going on with that.
Any ideas on that?
Also, this is finally being distributed out there soon.
well, if you say so OP.
fucking based. would actually use some of these as ringtones if I had a nokia phone before 2012
I mostly agree with you, especially with the half-assed shit on SC though Soundcloud has better algorithmic eyes on more obscure stuff you might dig than say Spotify. Bandcamp is more centered on you actually discovering for stuff to listen to, which is great yet time-consuming at times.
