I don't know how well it would work as a concert, nor do I know the best way to arrange them in set list. I hope it's not too obvious I basically stopped listening after Running with Scissors.

>Genius in France
Are you Frank Zappa fans? I'm a Zappa fan and this was number 11. I'm curious if non-fans rate this song.

i like him, yea. not a diehard zappa fan but he was truly one of the great composers of the 20th century. it more came down to which song would I enjoy seeing live more as a closer and of the bizarre epics of his I think genius in france would be more fun. also I forgot hardware store fuck

yeah, i was actually surprised to hear weird al do a take on zappa, but it's no surprise that he's an inspiration to al.
i'm sure anyone who likes genius in france will like jim cox's frankie's in town. i prefer genius in france since al is doing his own genuine take on zappa whereas cox is straight up parodying him

lol I used to listen to genius in france a lot in middle school, I had no idea what it was parodying back then, and I haven't listened to it since I first listened to zappa

Anyway Mission Statement is his best song from the last decade

Mandatory Fun is the only Weird Al album where the best song is a parody.

Not a zappa fan, love the song though probably belongs on the list

>you are 10 years old and get to pick out your first cd for the family summer road trip
>you are walking down the isle of a best buy when it catches your eye
>how could you ever say no
