if Steely Dan qualifies as a supergroup, then yes.
if not I can't think of one good one.

>Cream
yes, they can

CSNY did pretty well I'd say
I'd also count YMO as a supergroup considering Sakamoto, Hosono and to a lesser extent Takahashi were all pretty famous and successful before

Who will make up the world's first hypergroup?

Traveling Wilburys

Dylan Brady
MC Ride
Will Toledo
Ringo Starr

Holy shit

If Gridlink counts then yeah.

Laura Les, Ice-T, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Geddy Lee, Beyonce, and Squarepusher.

The only way to do it properly is to release one album and then disappear forever.

this is what i was gonna say

this
or yardbirds

Came here to post them

I remember loads of people hated Coverdale-Page because Coverdale's voice was a carbon copy of Robert Plant's

They don't really even sound at all similar, Coverdale has a much richer and fuller bottom end than Plant but subsequently sounds a lot more nasal and raspy when he sings high.

Tropical Fuck Storm

U.K. were good.

Traveling Wilburys and the Highwaymen. The thing is though you gotta accept that most supergroups are composed of artists well beyond their prime and really it's just them hanging out while practicing their craft.

Asia was good

Cream. CSNY. Led Zeppelin.

Emerson, Lake and Palmer did, until they didn't

Velvet Revolver

Vol1 is the comfiest album ever made
