Well, Mr. 111035900 has got /gg/ figured out anyway lol

Short scales were introduced on the Jaguar as "faster and more comfortable" but it ended up being used on a lot of student/lower cost models. The strings require less tension to tune to pitch and the frets are closer together so it makes it easier to play for smaller or weaker hands, or beginners. They also have their own sound. Kind of a plinky, warm sound compared to the piano-like sound of a 25.5" scale.
Multiscale is a thing people with perfect pitch slapped together to correct the tiny inaccuracies in intonation standard scale guitars have. If you're one of those people with exceptionally good/perfect pitch, a guitar with fanned frets is one of the options you have to 'sweeten' the tuning. Compensated nuts also. Another option is to ditch the guitar and play keyboard or something. I'm on team 'it doesn't fucking matter and nobody notices' on this one. Stringed instruments are all about sliding in and around correct pitch anyway. Even the ultra autistic pitch fags are unlikely to play the instrument with perfect intonation even if the guitar is set up for that due to variable pressure on the strings when they fret notes.
Why do you jokers name these "kpop edition"? Most sane people filter out kpop, it took me forever to find it. Of course, I guess most sane pepole filter out gg, too, so carry on.
Multiscale is a stupid meme that just makes playing harder Shortscale is a meme for hair metal speedfags and weak bass fags

I'm trying to make a wet dry rig as minimally as possible. I play 80s/90s punk rock covers like Husker Du and Replacements in one band, but since that's not super in demand I am trying to join another band which just does shitty country covers at fire hall wedding receptions. Trying to do a minimal rig that does both. Already have the guitar, the two amps, the phaser, the tuner and the pedalboard, but curious what you'd swap otherwise.
I have no argument with your proposed setup. Looks nice.

Guitar music is quite possibly the most boring thing to watch live. Nobody wants to watch you stare at a fretboard or stand awkwardly in one spot tied to the mic stand.
