people spend more time justifying why they like it (and it's genius) rather than reading/listening to the album.

Why is it always the same few books that get posted? it's the same problem with /lit/ as well, I don't even read that much yet I know all of these titles, do people not read anything beyond the most popular things?
There's no individual taste to speak of, it's as if I went on Any Forums and every movie thread was just the top 50 rated shit on imdb.
