Midwest Emo is the current ethnic folk music of Midwestern people(s)...

Midwest Emo is the current ethnic folk music of Midwestern people(s), which has been fused with other styles and proclivities to inform the styles of many people, including prominent virtuosos, Tim Henson and Ichika Nito, who are redefining shred for generations to come, with Henson making virtuostic music danceable again. We should be proud of ourselves for having style. This is a great success. Midwest emo sounds are so adaptable in "sophistication" - from Camping In Alaska to Invalids - However, midwesterners made music long before that reflected their frontier laborer lives, Christian values, and European origins and languages. Many old songs were recorded by Alan Lomax and others, in days before vinyl, and the recordings as such are rough. They are also usually elderly people singing folk songs from memory. Many if not all of these recordings are available on the Library of Congress website. There is a relatively untapped tradition here, and one belonging to a people or peoples that is lacking, in my opinion, of a sense of "ourself". Our (boring!) identity as factory workers with 2 kids and a lawn full of chemically sprayed inedible monocrop "grASS" is waning due to outsourcing, and our culture has not had time to heal before we have begun getting the other modern economic and cultural woe of mass nonwhite immigration. In order for our interests as an ethnic group or groups to have any voice in politics - which is ultimately

at least partially about the application of selection pressures onto categories of people that do effect the fertility, culture, and prosperity of those categories of person, we must cultivate a culture of our own and snap out of our malaise. Law, which stems from politics, effects fertility in imprisoning men. It effects their culture in that if, say, an immigrant race's men already have a culture of taking a certain crime less seriously in their home country than in America, and have a higher incidence of committing that crime in America as a result, more than the average will end up going to prison, and then coming out, having absorbed prison culture and experiences, which will be taken into the culture by his presence. A relevant category would be the category of men who are convicted of a crime. Prosperity is effected in that criminals are less likely to be hired. I say this to show how politics effects categories of people in the sense of numbers, culture, and prosperity. Midwesterners are also being pushed around by politics, not only in the form of the anti-nationalist, anti-socialist moves of outsourcing and using mass importation of laborers rather than paying natives what they want to be paid for any given job - and everyone has a price the greedy pigs could shell out to clean a toilet or shovel some shit if they put their heads together and did what was right - which is to pay people somewhat based on the unpleasantness of the job and the standards people hold themselves to. Rather, foreigners, more willing to do what the native sees as beneath him for that price, are brought in.

>Present of the MIDwest

Oh yeah I meant to say that uhh Nito is like taking it in a more neoclassical almost kinda way. And I wanted us to see that expression of ourselves as indicative of our ability to bridge class divides and use our midwest niceness to actually have a functioning and hardy ethnic group. There is a mutual respect between those who in other genres are called wankers, and those who in other genres wankers call boring. The mutual respect between Modern Baseball and Tiny Moving Parts for example, despite a divide in the approach. This openness is a reflection of our ethnic character.

I'm tired of writing, but I wanted to share some of this Midwestern folk music. Someone actually got a band together and recorded some of those old songs in a contemporary folk style. I like this one a lot.

And this is the library of congress archive of all the old people singing songs of their youth they would have been delighted to know you remembered. :)

mucho texto

Yeah I had a lot to say. I had more to say but I am too bored of typing and/or high.

emo has always been awful, it's a shit scene for bored teenagers in dying malls. Which is the only place it's acceptable to have emo playing. Which is what I did but with some god awful
____ICP____
tribute group that did avril language rap covers. Awful shit that thankfully died out when they all OD'd and died, which is pretty emo.

Educate yrself, shitlord! Good emo is real!

NE fag here, we mog you

I don't care. I just wanna cultivate the positive qualities of my race/ethnicity and make them less fragile whether they want me to or not.

all emo sounds like girlfriend music

Girls are supposed to like music. Boys and girls can both enjoy midwest emo and both have their niches. Girls and boys should both be able to play music and not have it be seen as out of the ordinary. The integration of pop music gives it wide appeal, like pop music. It could become as gender-neutral and culturally important as country music, and it could branch out from it's hysterical side as well. Sure, there is "effeminacy" in the genre, but there is "effeminacy" in the region because we are poisoned by the atrazine they spray all over the corn, which is the same chemical that causes male frogs to produce eggs. Hormonally fucked with people are going to make hormonally fucked with music, and that's just going to be our authentic expression for a while until we deal with our environmental problems. And then it will be an unfortunate part of our past we will learn from.

(but it will also become a part of our history, including good music, if we will be remembered at all. There are still weirdos like me who listen to Provencal folk music and shit, so someone will probably be interested in midwest emo music in the future, and maybe it will even be someone who is cool)

take your meds

"Oy vey! Pull ova! You've had too much to think! Take your antipsychotics and estrogen and onions protein!"
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Kill yourself, rootless worm. I hate americans for wasting their beautiful folk music tradition for lame pop shite, at least rock & roll and rhythm & blues in the 60's and 70's still kept true to the roots for a while

you are trolling on a level that is so above me rn and I respect that

Roots don't come from nowhere. What you see as wholly separate are connected and everything exists in transience. You are not special

oh i was just meme-ing but now I think you actually might need medication

I'm raising awareness of the European folk music of America, countering the problem of us being disconnected from our roots that you're apparently blaming me for.
Midwest emo is the expression of peoples after being cut off from our roots and absorbed into a shaky top-down ethnogenesis, and reflects that, however it has evolved in a way that makes it fertile ground for anything from the very authentic, to the very popular, to the very sophisticated. It has the makings of a new ethnic tradition with which the older ethnic traditions from which we are cut off can be reintroduced as we move into the future. Ethnic elements can be observed in the music of Tiny Moving Parts. It is not "Europe", it is not "Americanism", and it is not "LARPing as Polish cause I'm a quarter Polish". It is something different and regionally specific. It is authentic romantic nationalism that would never probably consider itself as such. It probably has nothing to do with race in their minds though, and I would never "accuse" them of sympathy. The questions of emo are questions white people who want to have a future must ask themselves. What has happened to me (us)? What should I (we) do now? Where do we go from here (?) What is wrong with me (us)? How can I (we) learn to stand myself (ourselves) again? Why doesn't my dad (ancestors) like me? Whatever is going on or has happened, we are who we are now. We can go down or up from here.
