Pyrrhon - What Passes for Survival

I only have four 5-star ratings, and I might downgrade it again at some point in the future, since it does have some flaws, but it is pretty much the greatest (Metal) album of the 2010s imo.

that's a sweet cover
I used to see mother of virtues posted a lot back in the day
not so much anymore

I've actually never rated an album 5 stars, only singles. I'm not even quite asking for every song to be 5 stars on it, it's just that even my very favorite albums are flawed significantly enough that rating them 5 is a disservice to the true 5/5 albums I haven't heard yet. I am still somewhat new in delving into the world of music

Based, same reasoning for my pick. Felt like i didn't want to give it a five until i was sure the hype had worn off.
I only started rating 5's pretty recently, because i just feel like, if you enjoy an album, it's gonna be 3+, and that only leaves 4 possible tiers (exclusing 5 stars) and it was just getting too cramped.

Pequeñas anécdotas sobre las instituciones, I had it on 4.5 but every 5 I have starts like that

looks like I upgraded Weezer's white to a 5 from a 4.5 but I always loved that album so picrel was the last 5 I gave. When I first listened to it, I was always in a rush, I didn't take the time to enjoy some slower paced records. But listening to it now, it's great

I've rated four albums 5 stars. One of them I've been listening to for 12 years, two for 10 years, and one for 9 years. I'd say they all deserve it.

what albums user

The Modern Lovers. I recently bumped to 5.0.

One of the most cleanly produced and atmospheric albums of all time. Has some great individual tracks and works brilliantly as a cohesive piece.

Candy Claws - Two Airships / Exploder Falls

Great pick for a five, although not as bold of a claim anymore as more people have come around to this album in recent years.

That's a shame. I love the immense, saccharine sound it's got going. I dont interact with those idiotic circles, though, so I assure you my hipsterdom is quite secure.

All great picks because they mean a lot to you. Cherish the music that makes you happy, friends.
