You might like Love Spirals Downwards. It's not my thing, but you may dig it. It's more of the same thing as Cocteau Twins, only it's nowhere near as interesting. Hey, it might scratch your itch anyway.

P.S. This took me seven fucking Captchas.

i've woken up with "aloysius" in my head the last few days, no idea why

Did you listen to Crushed and Millimillenary and Lullabies To Violaine already

for some of their influences
Kate Bush
Siousxie and the Banshees
and also
Cranes
Dead Can Dance

Fushigi by Akina Nakamori

if you want to get more hard/outlaw rock as opposed to dreamy ambient...

>Beetles and eggs and blues and pour a little everything else
>You steam a lens stable eyes and glass
>Not get pissed off through my bird lips as good news

What did she mean by this? Was it autism?

Essential Cocteau Twins errata listening:

It's also produced by Robin Guthrie

No, because it's true

Gala/Spooky era Lush, a good chunk of that material was produced by Guthrie.

Hard to say, since you posted their best album IMHO, but if you haven't heard Heaven or Las Vegas yet, you might give that a spin.

Siouxie might've had some influence, but the two sound nothing alike.

Cocteau Twins couldn't write a song like Christine, and Siouxie wouldn't ever be caught dead singing something like Ivo.
