Does anyone have problems with their audio interface when switching between programs? Like a tutorial on youtube and your DAW?

Do you have a solution for it? I was thinking setting windows to use my motherboard's sound, then routing both my mobo's headphone output and my interface's output into a mixer. It'll be $100 to fix this stupid issue.

Running my PC audio through my interface and using it's ASIO drivers universally has made it work sometimes, but it hasn't been consistent
