It's cool if you cut the jazz part

It's cool if you cut the metal part

Jazzy metal is unironically great

Mr Bungle is cool

what, you don;t enjoy this absolute kino??

there's nothing jazzy about that album though

based deaf poster

tell me where there is any jazz in there

I love Opeth

i like cojum dip if that counts

That entire track in particular.
Define 'jazz', because if TOOH's Pod Vladou Bice isn't jazz metal then certainly stuff like Cynic and Atheist, which are less jazzy even, aren't jazz metal.

that track in particular might have some jazz feeling to it, i will step back and concede that, but no other track feels jazzy to me. Cynic certainly has a blatant jazz edge.
i'm not dissing !T.O.O.H.!, i think they're great, but i never thought of their music as jazzy.

!T.O.O.H.! pulls heavily from the more energetic side of avant-garde/free jazz in structure.

It's cool if you cut both parts

fair enough, i'm not knowledgeable of free jazz so maybe that influence escapes me when i listen to them

Based John Cage enjoyer

jazz is good, metal isn't, so therefore jazz metal is 50% good
