"Gibson Derangement Syndrome" (or "GDS" for short) is a mental illness brought on by severe poverty and raging jealousy whenever a poorfa/gg/ thinks about a Gibson™ brand guitar he can't afford. You see it manifest most often in conversations that have absolutely nothing to do with Gibson™ but the sufferer manages to inject a negative Gibson™ related comment regardless of the subject being discussed. It mostly afflicts people of a third-world persuasion but can sometimes be seen in lower class first-world citizens who work as menial laborers and such. If you feel an episode of GDS oncoming please seek your local labor department or monster.com for treatment!
Remember: the only cure for GDS is a small amount of expendable cash available for purchases! Don't become another statistic!

anyone ever think why guys like Rick Graham, Tom Quayle, Mateus Asato etc, have signature guitars when the majority of the material they produce is short clips of them noodling?

That's what sells now, and big tit girls who can't play, but get loads of simps and sponsors.

it's a sad state of affairs desu. Imagine being someone like Ben Eunson, who has an EP and an album, has played loads of sessions, gigs regularly, and doesn't have a signature model.
Rick Graham, on the other hand, releases a few short clips, never plays gigs, has recorded one album years ago, and he gets a signature.
