This is their only post-wish album i like honestly. Bloodflowers never did it for me

Hi Chris.

Couldn’t get into anything post-Wish. I believed End was a statement of truth

I think I've reached that point
Where all the things you have to say
And hopes for something more from me
Are just games to pass the time away

my pick for most incredible final record
Bad ass to the literal bone band

Wire
Yo La Tengo

I did a deep dive on the Cure with a friend once and I thought this was probably in their top 3 albums.

Then there’s the “avant garde” late runners like Bowie, Swans, Scott Walker who all had late era Renaissances. David Byrne might be adjacent to them.

The Who’s Endless Wire has some amazing songs. Man in a Purple Dress specifically.

Also They Might Be Giants still always have some really great songs on their new releases. Look up Drown the Clown from their most recent album BOOK.

Also one of the best XTC records.

It's an underrated one, rather fond of the expanded vinyl edition, similar to Delta Machine by Depeche Mode the standard edition doesn't do the album justice.
No Peter Hook, but still good as hell.
Masterpiece

The last 2 Korn albums

Best album in nearly 20 years out of seemingly nowhere. Very pleasant surprise.

I love both of these albums actually. Always felt S/T in particular was way underappreciated.

I would say 3, Serenity of Suffering is about on par with Untouchables IMO.

What's up with the cover art going from good/great to dogshit after Disintegration?

and Fear Inoculum

Smith being directly involved

Rather Ripped

Is there any hope for the upcoming album(s)?

All of The Cure's artwork is awful IMO. Seventeen Seconds and Faith are the most bearable ones and they're just blurry images.
