Hey all! Just put out some instrumental prog/doom metal, give it a listen! Would love some feedback too, one day I aim to find a vocalist for these tracks.

again, this is really funny sounding music and my "critique" in the soundclown thread applies to this track.
sounds metal I guess but it's pretty rough sounding in the mix / master in an un-gnarly way and a bit stock in the midi patches used. there's also this awkward phrasing between 2:29 - 3:44 where it's just stuck at this skipping-sounding loop which intended to be uncommon in its time signature but again, it's awkward. whole thing sounds AI-generated in composition desu.
btw, can't you sing over this yourself? I could a try as I could go metal but idk, what type of singing are you looking for? symphonic yet having screaming chops?

obligatory reccs:

> idm, wannabe krautrock, sub37
I definitely want both screaming and soft vox on this. Yeah I'm still learning to make everything feel natural -- I'm a bassist first and only picked up guitar relatively recently (6yrs ago) so my tracking on that is really rough. I can't sing over it myself. I can't write lyrics or sing, I get too in my head about it. Sounding AI generated in composition isn't the worst thing either, I intend for it to feel disjointed in SOME ways, but yeah. My discord is Lyssa#2775 if you want to give it a shot on vox

please abduct me and never take me back
I wish this was more intense, more heavy, perhaps slower but that's just my tastes seeping in
idk where you got the krautrock idea from, to me it sounds like some oriental jam, which I don't dislike /// also if you're ukrainian please rate my album
sounds like the kind of music I need to listen "properly" in get a good idea from, rn I'm just skimming through this thread
same as above, this music needs a proper setup, not that there is anything bad with that
the world needs more dark folk or I need to look more into it

Nothing to do with the war, I just fucking like her music so I made a tribute album similar to 猫 シ Corp's SANDRAWAVE

I found it similar to some Amon Duul's music from Wolf City, but maybe that's just me.

So far - very good. Creepy, lo-fi-y, original interplay of different genres. Rec.

I would get vocal going desu
whats going on here then... I like the blasted out drums, very saturated.
I can hear some musical chops in there. very no wave-y.
unsettling, listening to ersatz chapel, the Bacon pic is appropriate
I like the chord progression and the guitar line, feels like it could use a little bit more variety, or maybe cut the song length back a bit. you could try bringing the beat in and out a bit more, break the song down and then build it up again, maybe add a couple more subtle changes to the rhythm track.

really digging the home-made, lo-fi air of this project. the hand-made j-cards add a nice touch too. could easily pass as an ariel pink release. I'd buy a cassette if the shipping wouldn't cost x5 the price of the cassette lol
you an I are not so different
haunting, beautiful and broken while not overstaying it's welcome as some other vaporwave sounds
