What's the Any Forums verdict on Muse? Best song? Best album?

Radiohead for the Poor People.

The bass and guitar disappear in the chorus in the last song they put in their channel. This is really annoying in the mix. Did you guys feel that too?

They look painfully British.

if reddit was a band

Radiohead is Coldplay for the poor though

lol

The 2nd Law

I saw Muse with Atreyu opening maybe 2005. The Muse guitarist/piano player is out of this world talented with chops that rivaled Van Halen or Animals as Leaders on both guitar and Piano. His singing is OK but not great. The rhythm section was very tight also. Muse are true musicians especially Matt.

might be good musicians and all, but the Leadsinger has just a random boring Voice.
this separates the really great Bands from the Mediocre like Muse.

plug in baby is the only song i really liked of theirs

Origin of Symmetry
Citizen Erased

post a good voice

the real problem with muse has always been matt's vocals. never fails to kill the momentum of the songs
their mixing has been shit for a long time now, not surprised.

>their mixing has been shit for a long time now, not surprised
until drones it was very good. agree?

/thread

They're like Queen, except with like an eighth of the inspiration and ambition.

Really wish they would just embrace their metal sound more, just like they did in Drones. But I guess millenials/zoomers wouldn't get their shitty generic trap beats and loud compressed sound otherwise, so off to the dying modern pop music landfill I guess.

All their songs are pretty anti semitic so not a huge fan

roll

Early Muse was best with heavier guitar. Time is Running out era
