>In a conversation with Consequence in 2021, Simmons said that in his opinion the success of bands like BTS will be over when their fans get older: “There’s also the boy bands: NSYNC, One Direction, BTS, and (sarcastically) XYZ, PTA. Good for them that they’ve got success. Don’t kid yourself. As soon as those girls are gonna grow a little bit older, that’s going to go away. It’s like sugar. You taste it, it gives you that little energy boost, and then it’s gone forever and you don’t care. But don’t kid yourself, it ain’t The Beatles. They don’t write songs, they don’t play instruments, it ain’t that. And we all love Elvis, never wrote a song in his life. There’s just nothing that compares to The Beatles.”
Of course the biggest faggot in rock music is a beatlefag

Why does he keep mentioning the Beatles also imaging caring about any of this at all

Based Gene obliterating this pedobait of a genre

They write and produce a lot of their songs. NSYNC broke up when they were still relevant and never got back together other than one-offs. Lots of Harry Styles' fans are the same fans from One Direction. Not mentioned, but Jonas Brothers, Backstreet Boys, and New Kids On The Block still do arenas. He has no idea what he's talking about.

Yes and no The Beatles were the boy band of their generation. Their fans at first were screaming cooming girls who loved them more for their looks than their music. What Gene should have said, is that current boy bands don't have the talent that boy bands from past gens had, and won't ever blossom and grow as musicians like the Beatles did, because they're not really musicians in the first place. Then he'd have been correct.
Leo Hernandez
What's up with you?
Jacob Scott
everyone you just mentioned is untalented
Austin Collins
Kind of. Because it's pop music it isn't composed with longevity in mind. But, it's difficult to say what will last. I don't think it's whether they play instruments, Eminem doesn't, Snoop Dog doesn't, Rihanna doesn't. A lot of American music acts don't play an instrument, the audience will settle for a drum track and vocals. It's the modern way.
Eli Peterson
Why does Gene Simmons think his opinion carries any weight? He's from a novelty band that was like ICP for boomers.
Isaac Collins
Who cares they’ll live like kings forever off royalty
>Lots of Harry Styles' fans are the same fans from One Direction. I like Harry Styles and i never heard one song from One Direction.
Ryder James
I'd agree if it weren't for the fact Gene Simmons and Beatles weren't so mediocre. If they tried again and were born today they'd probably ace at instruments and production as the production got better. It's why songs like Real Love and Free as a Bird has more power and melody to the production when they were released in the 90s. Better technological advances comparsd to their half good half boring 60s material.
Jordan Bell
Justin TImberlake's 00s material mogs anything John Lennon ever wrote. The Beatles killed the sexy with their hairy hippy shite, Justin brought it back and boomers keep seething.
