I think the intro melody is repeated a few times too many at the start (it is awesome when it keeps coming back though), but when this gets going it really fucking gets going. this is very very good. and yeah, I would probably call it jazz fusion.
expected run of the mill Autechre worship from the description, was positively surprised by all the melodies. maybe even too many melodies and not enough time to develop them. but at times I felt transported into 90s anime virtual reality, which is cool.

the vocals could be a little less flat but the lyrics are pretty well constructed and rhythmic, and the overall texture is rly relaxing and cozy. I also really love the weird time signature switchup at the "fragile, frail, foolish" part, it's so subtle that it took me a second to realize it was happening, which i think is really good songwriting
always dig some really complex math rock sorta stuff, especially the kind that isnt afraid to sound rly wacky. kinda gives me a bit of a Zappa vibe
i cant tell if whats really weird and offputting about this is intentional or not but i really like it please keep making more
