Not sure whether I prefer this or WBNR, both are excellent in their own way.
Can we all agree that Che + Ian was the best Don Can era?
>Not sure whether I prefer this or WBNR
the drumming on this is amazing
>Can we all agree that Che + Ian was the best Don Can era?
yes

This board doesn’t care about good music anymore
don cab still gets multiple threads per week doofus
but I do miss the phc generals
Also the cover is so cool. One of my fave of all time.
stupid puma's so fucking good bros, I've honestly never listened to the rest of the album, I just keep hearing that song
I just want to say american don is fucking garbage and nothing like this or wbnr, massive disappointment
you're losing on please, please this is tokio. p,p,p pantless, repeater defender, no one gives a hoot about faux ass nonsense. really that albums is just a masterpiece on the post-hardcore/math rock genre
I really should listen to the whole thing
I wouldn't say it's garbage, but American Don is definitely inferior. It's dumbed-down, and the album casual listeners always name drop.
No love for Singles Breaking Up? I love those EPs.
2 and For Respect are great, too.
for respect is so good and raw
it has nice moments but I feel like the songs never really come together. probably would've been great if Banfield stayed in the band. also, that guy doesn't get enough credit, pretty sure he wrote a lot of the stuff on for respect.
Have you listened to Singles Breaking Up? It's a comp of all their EPs, before and during the For Respect era.
It gets boring really fast because every song abuses a delay pedal to make up for the absence of a second guitarist
no I really need to then
I like the buzzsaw song
*incoherent mumbling*
>Can we all agree that Che + Ian was the best Don Can era?
Yes
mmmmmmmmmath rock
I wouldn't call it boring just because they moved in a more textural/atmospheric direction on AD.
*BTFOs you with RIFFS*
