Albums where the most popular song is the best song

I used to think Day of the Lords was the best song but now it's gotta be Disorder, even if it got taken over by the normies it's an incredible song in every way

new dawn fades is the best song

That's not how you spell "Shadowplay". Not even trying to be a contrarian, it's my honest opinion

Disorder was an incredibly iconic song before it got taken over by "normies". What does this even mean in the context of an album as popular and influential as Unknown Pleasures?
Either way, New Dawn Fades is the best track here and one of the greatest songs of all time.

>Filosofem
>Nevermind
>B-52s
>Filth
>Doolittle
>Heaven or Las Vegas
Just to name a few

More Than a Feeling is the world's greatest song.

almost. you forgot about I Wanna Rock Your Body (To The Break Of Dawn)

I mean that in the sense that Disorder and Love Will Tear Us Apart are their two most popular songs by a long shot and that it has appeal in pop culture so it's kind of a cliche pick for their best song

Also that the song is about not being able to fit in society due to a factor that alienates you from regular people and activities, and having to sell out your humanity or individuality to participate in those things despite being unable to naturally. It's a message that many people who know the song can't truly relate to, not that they can't like the song but it hits harder when you deal with similar circumstances

this. seems to be most people start with loving disorder and then they release new dawn fades is the ultimate harrowing joy division track, the tone on the guitar is unmatched and the vocals are more concise and to the point

>release
I meant realize, god i should proofread when I'm this retarded

I used to argue about this one with my buddy alot, we both shared taste in punk, metal, numetal, grunge, shoegaze, and even hard and funk rock but he said More Than a Feeling was overplayed and that he couldn't listen past that it annoyed him in the past and still does to this day. Sure I've heard it more than most songs before I even liked music but its just a really well made song and the chorus is incredibly uplifting way moreso than almost any other pop songs. You really feel the sensation the singer has been feeling since he's finally 'made it' as a musician/star. Also great riff.

Its obvious isn't it? Same thing with a lot of Any Forumscore like Spiderland or Spirit of Eden.

Isn't She's Lost Control the most popular song on the album?

You may mean the title track or you may mean Venus. Both are great, but it kinda disproves your point

That and See No Evil are pretty bussin tunes, no cap fr

This user gets it, Shadowplay and interzone slap hard.
