Nice chart. I might actually ask you for a rec since I've been wanting to get into Velvet Underground and Animal Collective for a while now.

Cool taste. I would recommend An Electric Storm by The White Noise but I'm sure you've heard it

I made a top 100 of the 90s and I guess this is the place to post it, I don't know if there is a gem I need to listen to
The charts are kinda similar but the picks are really good
You're cool too

I think you would prefer s/t or tvun to wlwh
And every anco record before and including mpp is a masterpiece I would recommend going backwards from that point because I think they get better every album that way with spirit being the best album ever easily (imho) when it clicks eventually
But lots of peeps dislike danse manatee and campfire songs since they’re a lot less accessible and hcti as well I guess but I think you’ll find enough to appreciate

i really don't know anything from any of these charts sorry i need to listen to more music

thanks for the recs
I did this general top 100 some months ago, I feel like it's already dated at some choices but you get the general idea, thanks for the recs as well

I like it a lot. However, stop sleeping on Boces! And the other Pram albums. The aquatic one, Sargasso sea I think, is probably my favorite of theirs. Pram is underrated desu

Boces is great but it didn't had such a big impact on me as yerself is steam had, same with sargasso sea. Also on the general top 100 I tried the most to not repeat bands, I only did it on yo la tengo, zappa/mothers and sonic youth because I liked the choices almost equally, I also did it with can but in a newer version I'd only include future days

The Inflated Tear

Olivia - Corra o Risco

Nala Sinephro?

Listen to Scriabin

Lorenzo Senni

Jessy Lanza

Gustavo Cerati - Bocanada

My chart focuses on rock albums I like. There's no real hierarchy, maybe just the groupings gives an idea of where everything sits with me.
I'd say Music for 18 Musicians, if you haven't already.
Here, try this: youtube.com/watch?v=IwYLzrmr9ps
>the blasters
Here's one for ya:
acerecords.co.uk/the-downey-story-landlocked
Blasters come from Downey, along with a few other famous musicians. The compilation is of musicians that recorded at the music studio located there at the time. It was defunct by the time the Blasters.

Makes sense. Future Days is my favorite as well.
