I cant play a chord

Try different shapes. The fifth fret voicing is really easy
i assume you'd change your fingering based on what you're playing before and after, but why is the 3rd on the second row fingered like that? to me it'd be more natural do do this
You can do whatever I guess but the barre triad fingering is really easy and leads itself for easy changes and adding melodies on top of it. It's just easier and more convenient
Idk, I never really follow the fingering they show in those diagrams.
At times I play it as a barre chord because I can move really fast to G#m and then to power chords. It gives the song a big boost.
Play bass
Should we tell OP about arpeggiated bass chords?
This but don't
Same, I just noodle about on the guitar.
git gud, fren
You won't regret it. You can noodle all day after that
Can't relate since I'm a keyboardist.
is there a website with these pictures showing chords in this clear and alternative ways like that? i've looked at some sites and they chords that work in theory but in practice are basically pointless or impossible.
Yeah, google search.
im talking about where you found that image specifically
Quite literally I have searched A chord and I have found that picture. I suppose it works for more interesting stuff as well, like inversions and weird jazz shit.
