It's not waifufagging. At least for me. I mean, yeah they're cute, I'm not blind, having good looks (and being charismatic as hell) will undoubtedly help them to garner more attention, but there's a fuck ton of bitches in pop and rock, even in metal, that look like models, or at least seem waifuable in some way or another, and I couldn't care less about those.
Believe it or not, it's the music. And not just the fact that they can play really well.
In an industry where people seem to have forgotten how to write simple compelling hooks, you know, just a fucking pop song that engages you in a fun way, these girls are true gems (especially Paulina who is the main composer.)
It's not groundbreaking, they're not reinventing the wheel, it's just that, to me, they seem to excel at what have become something of a lost art in recent years, in the most unpretentious and unironic way possible. I wish modern rock would have more people like them.
