For me, it's Juanita/Kiteless from their live album

crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy

Is there a band with more SOUL than Underworld? For anyone that disagrees I urge you to listen to Jumbo, especially the EE version.

That’s just a mood piece, the album goes off way more than this. In fact they could have stopped after the first two tracks and it would still mog almost every other 90s album. It’s insane that Underworld aren’t legendary mucore . Feel the same about meat beat manifesto, two groups that were ripped off by Any Forums darlings left and right

For me that would be Cups

Can this be part of the club or nah?

I've never liked Beck but to be honest I have not given Sea Change a chance and I think I recall it being considered pretty different from the rest of his catalog. I'll give it a listen , in the past I felt he didn't stand up to Ween or Butthole Surfers which he felt like a pastiche of to me . If I wanted that I preferred Cake

Why did this post remind me of the Steve albini roast beef copypasta

i actually had that in mind. love the man

I just remember listening to this album a lot, along with Kid A and Homogenic around the same period, don't know exactly why. Maybe there's no discernible relation between them at all and I was just fucked in the head.

based on your tastes, i hope you've heard the peak meat beat manifesto and orbital material

Nope, I'm just a pleb, but I'll check them out, thanks

can't go wrong with this

I was living in Japan when I first heard that album, and I always associate it with the time I was listening to A Hundred Days Off and hearing this everywhere I went:
