Start the song with the vocal melody at 0:36! Don't start with the chorus.
Basically skip from about ~0:15 straight to ~:35.
The verses are really good, but the chorus isn't knocking me out, I would try to hype that part up.

How do I write Emo lyrics if I didn't date or have crushes in Junior/High School or College?
Write about the girls you wanted to date and how much you miss them even though you haven't spoken in a decade or they're fucking dead.
Also make the lyrics that aren't actually about that vague but phrased in such a way that they could be interpreted to be about a love interest.
