I've been thinking of getting into buying physical copies of my favorite albums. Are CD's or Vinyl's the better choice? I've heard from some people that vinyl's sound better but I'm not too sure if that's the case as plenty of other people say its exactly the same.

Vinyls are often mastered better because you can't compress as much when mastering for vinyl. But when it comes to ability to reproduce the 20-20KHz spectrum with high SNR, CD is vastly better.

If you're a quality fag you'd probably want SHM/blu-spec Japan press stuff, but they're pricey. Vinyls are more fun collectors items so I prefer them
