Keane could do "Paranoid Android" but Radiohead could never do "A Bad Dream".

i was thinking about Is It Any Wonder
OH SIMPLE THING
WHERE HAVE YOU GONE
Nigga i thought that said Kanye LOL! Ye could totally make paranoid android tho.
The OP was just a meme brother, don't worry
Yeah probably, does anyone care about Keane anymore? They made a comeback album 3 years ago and no one cared
I saw them live 2019 before all the Corona shit went down. I was surprised at how many hits they have, very very solid pop. One of the most fun concerts I've ever been to
Hopes and fears is better than Ok Computer
Not than Kid A, though
Keane do seem to be picking up listeners somewhere, a lot of their songs have 30-40m views on Youtube, and some in the hundreds of millions. whereas I imagine a lot of bands of that era have basically nothing. Razorlight have 13m on America
Their debut is an all-time great pop album, but I don't know how anyone finds anything they did listenable after that, it's all so dull compared to how zeitgeist-capturing this was along with AROBTTH

Don't reckon the lead singer of Keane would be able to play the acoustic part of Paranoid Android while singing tbqh. Thom Yorke is a massively underrated guitarist.
I like all their stuff from the era of their first 2 albums, UTIS is unironically one of my all time favorite albums. Couldnt stand the one they made after that though
Keane still get hits because they're Coldplay-lite.
They used to be huge and had several chart topping albums in the UK
Perfect Symmetry is underrated and title track is one of their best songs

I remember their singer went to a drug rehab
Their good ones of them are my favorite thing to come out of that one weird 2000s britpop era, they are to Coldplay what Flock of Seagulls are to Duran Duran, the former just makes more sense to me at their best.
I always think it's an old radiohead song like from pablo honey or something lol
